Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lawyer (Estate Planning & Estate Administration) to join our team at Beacon Law Centre. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping people. Reporting directly to the owners, you are responsible for providing quality legal services in our Estate Planning and Estate Administration departments. The successful candidate will work across our office locations.

Job Type:  Full Time or part time.
Salary Range: $100,000.00 – $150,000.00
Benefits: Health Care Spending account
Schedule: Monday -Friday,  9am-5pm,  (35 hours per week)
Location: All BLC locations.

Accountabilities

• Prepare bespoke estate plans
• Provide guidance to executors and manage the estate administration file
• Delegate document preparation and file work to our team of specialized legal assistants
• Represent Beacon Law Centre in our community and local organizations

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience practicing Estate Planning and Estate Administration
• Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
• Strong knowledge of applicable legislation, procedures, and best practices
• Proficiency with software tools and comfortable with electronic communication and file management
