Paula practices in the areas of estate planning and administration, residential real estate, and co-ownership and cohabitation agreements.

She is passionate about supporting the flourishing of others.  Her “whole-person-whole-life” approach is rooted in commitment to helping people manage the legal issues of their everyday lives.  She regards it as a privilege to be a part of her clients’ lives, and loves her work of providing legal services that help people create security and stability through all the changes and challenges of their lives.

Paula obtained her law degree from the University of Alberta in 2011.  She clerked with the Provincial Court of Alberta, articled with the Attorney General of BC, worked with the Attorney General of Alberta and the Alberta Law Reform Institute as well as a sole practitioner before joining Beacon Law in 2024.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Paula was a newspaper reporter, a librarian and a manager in the post-secondary education and corporate sectors.
